Bidwell Designs is owned by Stuart Bidwell. Growing up, Stuart had an eye for design and always had projects going on in his garage. He graduated with a music degree in New York and played music professionally for over a decade. During his music career he moonlighted as a carpenter and after stepping away from music, decided to pursue custom carpentry full time. He now lives and works in Albuquerque, New Mexico, his hometown, and has been fortunate to help his clients reinvent their homes and professional offices. 

Rachel Palley helps with administrative and financial duties. She'll ensure your experience with processing paperwork and payment is quick and easy. Rachel and Stuart have been working together for a year and are excited to continue building and creating together.

Bidwell Designs is unique because we take a creative and thoughtful approach to residential and commercial design. We consider not only the aesthetics of a space, but also its functionality and the client's lifestyle. 

Stuart has over a decade of experience in the custom design industry. He has worked on a variety of projects ranging from small residential spaces to large commercial projects to include home renovations, office improvements, bar and restaurant, custom framing, and decorative and functional design.

Bidwell Designs is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We love to travel and are open to accommodating requests outside of the city. Please note that we will only take on projects as long as we can commit to the distance in the timeframe agreed upon by us and the client.

Consultations are free of charge, we just ask for a two week notice to schedule an on-site appointment.

There is no set price as each project is different. After the initial consultation you will be given a quote for materials, time, and labor. Please note that the final price may change if more materials, time and labor are required. We do our best to get the initial quote and final price as close as possible.
